Kitasato University East Hospital Clinical Trial Center

Since its foundation as the second hospital of Kitasato University in 1986, the Kitasato University East Hospital has played a regional core hospital. Especially it is evaluated as the unique hospital corresponding to wide medical treatment from the acute stage to the chronic phase with three centers of "Center of Digestive Diseases”, “Center of Neurological Disease” and “Center of Mental Disease”.

The clinical trial center of Kitasato University East Hospital has over 30 staffs and 36 beds for only for early phase trial. The data quality and safety is high because the center is located in the hospital and be able to get high cooperation with the specialist of various diseases. Under this good environment we conduct so-called Phase 1 studies which require high skill, PK/PD tests, and ECG QT examination, etc. Moreover, we are ready to conduct the micro-dose clinical trials.
The center cooperates positively with foreign countries. Recently, the center has initiated the East Asian clinical trials network.
